AECC Success at the Thistle Awards
That the Parliament congratulates the staff at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) on winning the inaugural M&IT/CAT Media-sponsored Best Business Event category at the 2018 Scottish Thistle Awards, which were presented on 15 March; notes that this prestigious award was presented in recognition of the AECC's hosting of the Alzheimer’s Research UK Conference, which is the largest annual dementia research conference in the UK, and believes that this will boost efforts to attract more major events and conferences, which will bring economic benefit to Aberdeen.
