The Post Office will close for refurbishment on the Friday 9th October at 12:30 and reopen a week later on Thursday 15th October at 13:00. During this time, local residents will still be able to access services at the Berryden and Clifton Road Post Offices.
Once reopened, Post Office services will be available seven days a week from 07:00 to 20:00.
“This is fantastic news for Woodside Residents who will soon be served by a local Post Office offering both a seven day service and much longer opening hours.
“The Post Office is a vital part of the local community and widening the availability for customers can only be a good thing, especially for those who have working patterns that don’t fit in with traditional opening hours.
Hilton, Woodside and Stockethill Councillor, Neil Copland commented:
“The extended hours should make life a great deal easier for Post Office users, allowing them to access a wider range of services at times that suit them.
“Whilst there will be a temporary inconvenience during the week long refurbishment period, this will be made up by having longer opening times.
