The charity provides a range of services for people who use drugs and alcohol, and their families and friends. It also offers services for those in recovery from drug and alcohol use.
Commenting on the visit, Mark said:
"I had a very informative visit to DA (Drugs Action) today where Chief Executive, Luan Grugeon, showed me round, introduced me to staff and discussed the work that the organisation delivers in our city.
"It is clear that there is great work being done by DA to support individuals recovering from alcohol and substance misuse. It is also clear that a number of challenges remain prevalent and we spoke about issues ranging from the rise of new psychoactive substances to the impact of welfare reform.
"I am very impressed by the work of the organisation and the dedication of the team. I will continue to work with DA and support their efforts to help people to recover and re-engage with society."
