The trio discussed the situation as it is affecting a number of businesses in the North East, some of whom have made contact with their Scottish Parliament representatives.
Commenting, the Donside MSP said:
"It is also open to local businesses to appeal the revaluation, and I would encourage any business who are concerned by the draft revaluation to make an appeal to the assessor.
"I was further encouraged to see it reported in the local press that there have been constructive talks between the Scottish Government and the local authorities about how best to implement a local solution. I am hopeful that the collaborative approach being taken forward will yield a positive outcome.
"I will continue to discuss this issue with colleagues at both local and national level as we look to ensure that the North East economy is given the support it requires."
