At the meeting the concerns were relayed which constituents had expressed following the letter that NHS Grampian sent out advising that the practice would be withdrawing from general medical services as of 1st October.
"The health board intimated that they are examining the best option for ensuring this continued delivery of service, and that they will update further as discussions are ongoing.
"We pressed the health board further on the wider situation as it affects GP services in the north of Aberdeen, and were assured that a number of options for delivery of services are being explored, and that when more details become available these will be communicated to the public.
"I hope constituents will be pleased that this cast-iron guarantee of a GP service being in place has been given."
