The cafe, which will run alternately between Newhills & Oldmachar churches on Tuesday afternoons from 1-3pm and will offer tea, cakes, conversation and activities for individuals with dementia and their carers.
Commenting on the initiative, Mark said:
"It's a great project and I was happy to support it and meet many constituents, in the photo with me are Jean from Bridge of Don, Grace who is one of the project co-ordinators, Jeanette who is an Alzheimer Scotland ambassador, and Hayley who works for Aberdeen City Council's Wellbeing Service."
