The Trade Union Bill has been met with intense criticism, with public service union, Unison describing it as 'unfair, unnecessary and undemocratic' and an 'attack on the very people who could be part of the solution to the country’s problems'.
"Along with my colleague, Kevin Stewart MSP, I met with Aberdeen Unison representatives Karen & Deirdre in parliament today to emphasise our opposition to the UK Government's Trade Union Bill.
"The bill is nothing short of an attack on workers rights and is a blatant attempt by the Tories to settle scores with the union movement.
"I hope that the bill will be defeated in the House of Commons and my SNP colleagues there are arguing to that effect."
