Mark has opened up his constituency office for foodbank donations to make it easier for local residents to donate to Instant Neighbour. Mark’s constituency office will be open for donations from 9.30am-4.30pm Monday to Friday, alternatively, donations can be made to Instant Neighbour’s centre on St Machar Drive.
Instant Neighbour have declared that they are particularly in need of main meals, pasta sauces, tinned fruit and vegetables, rice, tea and coffee, biscuits and male toiletries.
“Instant Neighbour’s foodbank is a lifeline to so many people in Aberdeen. I hope that opening up my constituency office for donations it will be easier for residents to donate to the food bank.
“It saddens me that some people in this city depend on the support of foodbanks to live, however, for as long as this continues to be the case we should call upon the generosity of members of the public to ensure that those in need of support do not go hungry.
“I urge everyone who is able to, to donate to Instant Neighbour, either at their premises on St Machar Drive or at the donation box in my constituency office.”
