Today Ovarian Cancer Action is visiting the Scottish Parliament to raise awareness and to highlight the importance of research required into the development of the world's first ovarian cancer screening tool. I made time to show my support.
The four main symptoms of ovarian cancer are:
* Persistent stomach pain
* Persistent bloating
* Difficulty eating/feeling full more quickly
* Needing to wee more frequently
Ovarian cancer kills more women than any other gynaecological cancer and cannot be detected during scheduled smear testing.
